Share Capital

Share capital is a unit of ownership which a member contributes to partly own the Sacco.

Features

  • minimum share capital of KSH 10,000/= which is KSH 100 shares at a cost of 100 each per share
  • Not refundable but can be transferred to a member.
  • Can’t be used as security for loan
  • Earns divided as determined annually

Deposits

Deposits allow members to make a monthly contribution towards the SACCO.

Features

  • Minimum contribution (class A-2700 class B -1700) - increases by KSH 100/= annually)
  • Members earn attractive interest annually
  • Withdrawal of the savings is made via a 60 days’ notice
  • Members get loans against the deposits
  • The saving can be used as security for loans

Christmas Fund

This is a voluntary contribution which enables our members to save for the end year festivities

Features

  • Minimum contribution is KSH 300
  • Earns interest at the end of the year
  • Members are not loaned against the savings
  • The savings is refundable at the end of the year
