School /College Fees loan

  • ii. For all members with or without children in school
  • iii. Cheques issued direct to the member and not school unless otherwise advised
  • iv. Granted x3 your savings
  • v .No fees pro forma required
  • vi. Repayment period is one year
  • vii. Disbursed once before schools open in January

Karibu loan

  • i. For newly employed officers
  • ii. Maximum is kshs 50,000
  • iii. Repayment period of 2 years
  • iv. Must be a member for one month
  • v. Share Capital deducted from amount applied
  • vi.10% of amount applied converted to deposits
  • vii. Competitive Interest rate on reducing balance method

Normal loan

  • ii. Given x3 deposits
  • iii. Repayment period is 4 years
  • iv. Competitive interest on reducing balance method
  • v. Must be secured
  • vi. You can get other loans as you service this one.

Refinancing loan

  • i. Is an additional loan to a member with an existing normal loan
  • ii. Given x3 deposits
  • iii. Repayment period of 4 years
  • iv. A capped Refinancing Commission fee
  • v. Competitive Interest on reducing balance method
  • vi. Must be secured

Premium loan

  • i. For members within the check off system
  • ii. Given x4 deposits
  • iii. Repayment period 60months
  • iv. A capped Processing fee
  • v. Affordable Interest on reducing balance method
  • vi. Must be secured

Supa loan

  • i. For member within check off system
  • ii. Given x4 deposits
  • iii. Repayment period 72 months
  • iv. Competitive Interest rate on reducing balance method
  • v. A capped Processing fee
  • vi. Top up after 3 years
  • vii. Must be a member for 2 years.
  • viii. Must be secured

Plot loan

  • i. Assist members to own plots through Sacco arrangements
  • ii. Given x3 deposits
  • iii. Repayment period 48 months
  • iv. Competitive Interest rate
  • v. Must be secured

Group loan

  • i. Given to an organized registered group
  • ii. Must have been in existence for at least six months
  • iii. 3 signatories for officials required
  • iv. Group minutes/resolution required
  • v. Loan given at levels

1st loan– x2 savings- repayment – 1 year

 2nd loan -x3 savings- repayment – 2 years

 3rd loan – x4 savings- repayment – 3 years.
